Nutrition For Cancer Prevention

Serdang, 18th August 2015 – Cancer Resource & Education Center (CaRE) has been organized an education program entitled “Nutrition for Cancer Prevention” delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Barakatun Nisak Mohd Yusof, Lecturer Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences UPM. This educational program has been held at Lecture Hall 4, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences UPM starting from 9.00 a.m till 11.00 a.m. More than 100 participants consists of UPM’s staff and students and also publics join the nutrition’s talk on the day

Through this talk, there were so many things shared by the speakers about the nutrition especially for cancer patients. High soy intake can reduce the risk of cancer recurrence (low fat, low cholesterol and high protein). Speakers said that breast cancer patients can take soy food and avoid soy supplement.
