Prognosis

  • Prostate cancer can be treated best when the cancer is found early and is still confined to the prostate. Some prostate cancers are slow growing and do not affect life expectancy.
  • After your treatment is finished, your doctor will recommend regular check up. If you have any new symptoms, you should see your doctor. You need to speak to specialist, who knows your case that can give more accurate information about your particular prognosis, and how well your type and stage of cancer is likely to respond to treatment
