Risk Factors of Prostate Cancer



1. Age

  • Age is the strongest risk chance of getting prostate cancer. Incidence of prostate cancer increases after age 50.


2. Family history

  • Men with a father or brother who had a prostate cancer are at higher risk to get the cancer than man who does not.


3. Diet

  • Men with a diet high in saturated animal fat and low in fruits and vegetables are at an increased risk to have a greater chance of getting prostate cancer. Other risk factors include high intake of dairy products
