Individuals with cancer confronted with various issues involving the physical, psychological, social, spiritual and financial. These issues began when diagnosed with cancer, before and during treatment, and after completion of the treatment. Cancer not only affects the individual itself, but also affects caregivers consisting of family members, friends, nurses, physicians and volunteers.
Therefore, Cancer Resource and Education Center (CaRE) offers Cancer Counseling Service handled by a Senior Consultant in Family Medicine. This service is offered in order to provide emotional insight and the understanding towards disease, and the psychosocial well-being of this group. The services offered are:
Chemotherapy Counselling / regarding the treatment of cancer
Counselling of patient care
Education about cancer
