Symptoms of Thyroid Cancer

For the beginning, thyroid cancer often does not show the symptoms. As thyroid cancer grows, symptoms may cause:

  • A lump in front of your neck and can be felt.
  • Hoarseness or difficulty speaking in a normal voice.
  • Swollen lymph node, especially in the neck. Lymph node is oval-shaped with a lot of tissue that acts as filters for a fluid called lymph and responsible to remove the cell waste and help the body fights infection.
  • Difficulty swallowing or breathing.
  • Pain in the throat or neck that does not go away

Anyone with these symptoms should see a doctor as soon as possible to be diagnosed. However, these symptoms are not sure signs of thyroid cancer. Many of the infection, thyroid nodule, or another health problem also could cause these symptoms.
