April 7^th - In conjunction with Cancer Awareness Seminar organized by Hospital Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Cancer Resource & Education Center (CaRE), UPM was invited to open cancer awareness booth. Our objectives were to promote CaRE services and also educate public on the cancer prevention, treatment and healthy lifestyle practices that can prevent cancer.  Activities at the booth included displaying of cancer education materials produced by CaRE, breast self-demonstration and also face to face interaction with those affected by cancer.

Overall, the target communities want to know more about the breast cancer. For those who have family members with cancer, they want to have knowledge on lifestyle to survive longer and live well.
